In honor of that month when World War II ended, Goin Bulilit takes us back to post-war era in a special episode titled
Noong Unang Panahon Panahon Ng Hapon. Bulilits Raikko Matteo, Bugoy Carino, Clarence Delgado, Izzy Canillo, Miguel de Guzman, Belinda Mariano, Casey de Silva, and Brenna Garcia played the role of orphans in this special episode. Just when they thought that the war is over, it feels like it's not over yet as the Japanese troops are aftering the orphans and it's a fight for survival.
It's a difficult one as Jaime, played by Raikko Matteo, once befriended a wounded Japanese soldier, played by special guest Jacky Woo, who spared his life. Now, all he had to do is keep this a secret between them, otherwise, that means big trouble.
With the secret's out, and when Japanese troops (one of them is played by a special guest, Yachang) revealed that there's a traitor between them, the struggle of this special has been proven to the end.
In the end, there's a moral that we learned that yesterday's enemy can be today's ally if someone spared your life and repay the favor for the good deed. Yes, it never hurts to help.
"
Some believe it is only Great Power that can hold evil in check. But that is not what I have found. I have found that it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love."
