1) Super typhoon Yolanda

Philippines will brace themselves for the arrival of one of the worst storms to hit this year called Yolanda (known by its international name Haiyan). This mega-typhoon may hit the Leyte-Samar area by Friday afternoon.

2) Virtual 10-year-old girl detects pedophiles

In a cunning move to hunt down sexual predators, a Dutch organization identified over 1,000 alleged child-sex predators thanks to this nifty virtual bait made by TDH Netherlands. This virtual bait, particularly a virtual 10-year-old Philippine girl named Sweetie, was made to notify the public and police organizations about how emerging countries are victimizing children online. Revealed at this year's SEMA Show, the Dodge Challenger RT Shaker brings retro looks on its modern package and this Shaker model isn't complete without, yes, the legendary "cold-air grabbing" Shaker which harks back to the 1970 Challenger R/T with the Shaker hood, continuing the engine-mounted hood scoop that "shakes" with the powertrain's movement.

Dodge's special Scat Package models pay tribute to the Scat Pack Club

45 years ago, a group of Dodge enthusiasts gathered together to create the "Scat Pack Club", one of the most notable Dodge car clubs in the history and as this car club is celebrating its 45th anniversary, Dodge revealed special Scat Pack package models on the Challenger, Charger, and the midsize Dart. Three Scat Packages will be made available for the 2014 Dodge Challenger, Charger and Dart, all at a cost-effective price, allowing enthusiasts to step up performance at their own pace.

Partnership between Renault Nissan Alliance and Mitsubishi Motors deepens

Looks like the partnership between the Renault Nissan Alliance and Mitsubishi Motors will keep on going because reports say that with the ongoing joint cooperation, Mitsubishi plans to rebadge two new models based on Renault platforms. First, there's going to be a new global Mitsubishi C-segment sedan based from a Renault car and then a D-Segment Mitsubishi sedan made for the North American market and based on a Renault model. What could this be? More to come later on...

With the success of the Mitsubishi ek Wagon and Nissan Dayz as well as prepping up for next year's eK Space and Nissan Dayz Roox, they also plan to co-develop a new small car including an EV version which can be sold worldwide.
