- Koreans celebrate the 567th anniversary of the Hangul, the Korean alphabet proclaimed by King Sejong the Great back in the mid-15th century.

- South Korean president Park Geun-Hye, who arrived in Brunei on Tuesday on the second leg of her ASEAN trip, took part in the Korea-ASEAN summit this Wednesday.

- North Korean leader Kim Jong Un recently visited a military-run livestock breeding station.
